Domain names: GoDaddy
I like to have all of my domains in one location so I never look for “bargain basement” deals on
domain names. I’ve been using GoDaddy for many years, the service has been great and their
domain manager is easy to work with.
Hosting: Host Gator
Like with GoDaddy I’ve been using Host Gator for years. I’ve also tried several other hosting
companies, but I find Host Gator to be far superior especially with customer service. Since I’m
running online businesses any down time I have costs me money so good customer service is very
important to me.

WordPress Themes – Free: WP Themes Base
I’ve spent (wasted) days and days over the years looking for good themes and one of the best places
that I’ve found for free themes is WP Themes Base.
WordPress Themes – Premium (paid): Studio or Elegant
Paying for a WordPress theme has it’s advantages, namely good coding (very important), high quality
graphic designs and they are usually kept updated when new versions of WordPress are released. The
two resources above provide GORGEOUS, high quality themes at low to reasonable prices.
WordPress Theme for Internet Marketers (paid) Marketing Theme
This theme makes everything to do with online marketing much easier. For example, it has built in templates for sales pages, squeeze pages, landing pages, review pages, etc. It also has an exit traffic grabber pop-up that you can activate , hundreds of graphics you can use as bullets, guarantees, star ratings etc. Click the link to see all that it has to offer. I haven’t had a chance to purchase this theme yet so I could check it out personally, but my friends are raving about it so I thought I’d let you know too.
WordPress Theme Creator Software: Artisteer
I really like this software, in fact, it’s what I used for the design of this and several of my other sites. One
of the reasons I like it so much is because it enables you to make themes “your way” without knowing
any code or having any design skills. For example if you want to have your picture or logo in the header
you can do it in about 30 seconds. If you want change your sidebars or even the complete layout of your
site it’s another 30 seconds. Cool Baby! I like this software so much that I created a video Crash Course
for it. It’s included free with the WordPress Crash Course.

The thing that I like about this site is you can have a bunch of designers create a logo or something else
for you then you choose the one you like best and pay only for that one.
Learn how to create really good online videos: Web Video
This is where I learned how to make sales videos and video training courses such as the WordPress
Crash Course. Dave, the owner, also shows you how make membership sites and how to make money
with your videos. I’ve purchased many, MANY training products, courses, training and memberships
since 1998 and this training is definitely one of the best investments that I’ve made.

I must admit, this software was a little buggy when I first purchased it, but they have since worked
out the bugs and now it works great. It’s easy to use and at around $100 it’s very affordable compared
to other, somewhat similar, membership software costing as much as $4000.
WordPress backup and complete restore software (super-easy to use): Cloning Software
Free backup plugins make it easy to back up your WordPress database, but they do not backup your entire
site. Restoring your site from a simple database backup is a fairly difficult and time consuming process.
This cloning software, that I now use and recommend, not only backs up your database, it makes an exact
clone of your entire WordPress Site. The best part is you can restore your entire site in a matter of minutes
with no special skills or complex procedures to learn.
Move your WordPress site to a new domain or server (super-easy to use):Cloning Software
Yes, this is the same software as above. Since this software backs up or clones your entire site it makes it
super-easy to move it to a new domain or hosting account. You can move a WordPress site with out any
special software, but it’s a very complicated process and you have to be very careful not to screw it up.
If you want to move a site this software is really a no-brainer.
